2010年12月，首届TEDWomen大会在华盛顿召开。不同领域，不同年龄的女性在那张标志性的红毯上，掀开了TED式的女性思想的分享盛会。
In Dec 2010, the first-ever TEDWomen Conference was held in Washington, D.C. The event brought together female thinkers and change makers of different age groups to the TED signature red dot to share their ideas and to discuss how women are reshaping the future.
TEDxXi’anWomen城市大会，是TEDx西安团队首次着力策展的女性专题活动，也是国内为数不多的城市级女性大会。我们将邀请来自表演艺术、设计、性学、时尚、教育、心理学等多个领域的代表性人物，围绕女性角色、女性发展、女性智慧等多方面内容，来讲述他们的独特思考。我们尝试从女性群体出发，重新观察、解释世界，期待激发关于女性的更多认知，以此收获启发、共同成长。
TEDxXi’anWomen city conference is the first event that focuses on female-centered topics curated by TEDxXi’an, and it is one of the few city-wide women conferences in China. We will invite speakers on various disciplines – both men and women, from art to design, education to psychology, fashion to gender studies or sexology – to share their ideas on how women think and behave, communicate and collaborate, learn and lead. We will try to observe and explain our world from the view points of women, hoping to inspire more insights and as a result think and grow together with you.
本次活动除了多位讲者经典的18分钟演讲，还有开放的小组讨论，多样的艺术、科技、时尚现场互动式展示，以及观看本年度全球TEDWomen大会的直播连线等独特体验。
In addition to the classic 18-minutes talk, you will also get a chance to immerse in the open-group discussion of interesting topics, on-site exhibition of art, technology and fashion, as well as the unique experience of the global TEDWomen live broadcast.
