[唐] 刘禹锡巴山楚水凄凉地，二十三年弃置身。怀旧空吟闻笛赋，到乡翻似烂柯人。沉舟侧畔千帆过，病树前头万木春。今日听君歌一曲，暂凭杯酒长精神。

Being banished to Remote Areas such as State of Ba（East of Sichuan Today）and State of Chu（North of Hunan and Hubei Today），I’ve been demoted for twenty-three years far away from the capital.Hearing the neighbors playing the flute when I walked across the former residence of Kang JI，Nostalgic Poetry came to my mind，and I started to remember the past time with my old friends（Shuwen WANG and Zongyuan LIU）fondly.I find myself happen to be the same as Zhi WANG in the Jin Dynasty when I come back home that things already changed the whole upside down.Thousands of sailboats are sailing through the sea，while shipwrecks leaning along the lakeside.At the same time, tens of thousands of trees are striving for the spring in front of the diseased trees.Enjoying your poetry today，let’s drink a toast to exhilarating ourselves from now on.

刘禹锡（772—842），唐代文学家、哲学家。字梦得，洛阳（今属河南）人，自言系出中山（治今河北定县）。贞元间擢进士第，登博学宏辞科。授监察御史。曾参加王叔文集团，反对宦官和藩镇割据势力，被贬朗州司马，迁连州刺史。后以裴度力荐，任太子宾客，加检校礼部尚书。世称刘宾客。和柳宗元交谊甚深，人称“刘柳”；又与白居易多所唱和，并称“刘白”。其诗通俗清新，善用比兴手法寄托政治内容。《竹枝词》、《柳枝词》和《插田歌》等组诗，富有民歌特色，为唐诗中别开生面之作。有《刘梦得文集》。
